Ngwe Saung Beach is South East Asia’s longest beach and is located 188km from the commercial center of Yangon or just 39km from the port city of Pathein.  Taking a cue from its fishing village roots, Ngwe Saung maintains a sleepy, laid back appeal perfect for relaxation.  It’s silvery or “Ngwe” sands, stretching for over 15km, is contrasted against the majestic blue waters of the Indian Ocean.  Visitors can explore the local village, elephant camp or mangrove forests, unspoilt island, and trekking to mountains.

Getting There

Yangon International Airport is serviced by many major carriers and guests have the option of travelling by private car or daily shuttle bus, which should take approximately 5hrs.
